KWALUSENI: Kwaluseni Member of Parliament (MP) Sibusiso Mabhanisi Dlamini was in the early hours on Monday attacked by the Swaziland International Solidary Forces(SISF).
It has been disclosed that when the forces arrived at Dlamini’s home and started firing shots, he shouted ‘Inyandzaleyo’ seeking assistance from neighbours while firing back.
Reached for comments, the Kwaluseni MP denied that he was attacked and said it was his neighbour who had been attacked.
“It was not me Dlamini but my neighbour, kube bekungimi ngabe kutekwa letinye”, said the MP.
But the Commander of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) confirmed that they arrived at Mabhanisi's home and fired shots.
“We arrived there and tried to manage the dogs that were barking while firing shots. Mabhanisi woke-up and fired back while shouting ‘Inyandzaleyo'.We failed to kill him but we will try again”, said the Commander of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF).
It has been disclosed that MP Mabhanisi was among the list of high profile people and Tinkhundla loyalists targeted by the forces after Mswati’s regime shot and killed dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
