MBABANE: The court case of pro-democracy Members of Parliament (MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube has been postponed to next week Tuesday 22nd February.
MP Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube were arrested after an order allegedly issued by King Mswati, they were subsequently charged with Sedition.
Addressing pro-democracy activists outside the High Court on Thursday, Sicelo Mongomezulu, the South African Correspondent Attorney representing the pro-democracy MPs thanked the support shown by emaSwati towards the incarcerated MPs.
“We just want to appreciate your commitment and dedication that you have shown this past week. The case continues on Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th. Please continue mobilizing for the coming week, the MPs have not changed, they still stand by what you sent them to do in Parliament", said the MPs lawyer.
