PUDEMO President Mlungisi pays bail for incarcerated EFF member.

MBABANE:Mlungisi Makhanya, the President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO)paid Three Thousand Rands (R3000.00)bail for one of the two University students who were arrested by the police on Tuesday.

The University students Sphiwayinkhosi Mndzebele and Mncedisi Mngomezulu who are members of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF)were abducted by Mswati’s police, electrocuted and tortured at the Mbabane Police Station while on their way to support incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs)Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.

Reached for comments,Mlungisi Makhanya, the PUDEMO President confirmed that he paid bail for one of the students.

“I paid bail for one of the students and the other one, it was paid by EFF,” he said.

Reached for comments,Thulani Motsa, the Treasurer of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF)Thulani Motsa confirmed that the EFF paid the R3000.00 for the other member and thanked the PUDEMO President for assisting.

“We want to thank the PUDEMO President for assisting with the other R3000.00, otherwise we were confused where to get the money. Wase uyachamuka Makhanya utsi ngoba sonkhe sikanye-kanye ngeke asilahle, wavele wakhipha lo-R3000.00. Otherwise, the students would have slept inside prison because we were running out of time to pay before the revenue office closed”, said the EFF Swaziland Treasurer.
