MBABANE: King Mswati’s Inyatsi Construction Sicunusa site was in the early morning hours on Monday, bombed by the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF), machinery worth over R2million was destroyed.
This comes less than forty-eight(48) hours after the Solidarity Forces invaded the Mbabane Police Camp where cars worth about R500,000.00 were burnt.
Confidential videos in possession of this Swaziland News suggests that the Solidarity Forces fired shots and forced the security guards to throw petrol bombs at the machinery including a bulldozer and a excavator.
Reached for comments, the Commander of the Solidarity Forces confirmed the bombing, adding that by forcing the security guards to do the bombing they were training them for the battles that lie ahead.
“It’s true that we bombed Inyatsi at Sicunusa, actually, we forced the security guards to bomb the machinery. We were training them how to bomb for the battles that lie ahead”, he said.
A resident of Magubheleni area who spoke to this publication at around 1:30am on Monday morning shortly after the bombing said the damage was huge.
“I am from there as speak,a huge new bulldozer and an excavator was burnt. A security guard came running ahlaba inyandzaleyo and we couldn’t quickly go there bebatasilimata labantfu”, said the resident.
Efforts to reach Inyatsi Director Michello Shakantu proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
King Mswati, when dispersing his regiments in January 2022 anything that would burn would he interpreted as a direct attack to him.
“I am reminding those who are burning structures saying they change kaNgwane(eSwatini) that anything that will burn as from today, that would be interpreted as a direct attack to the King”, said the absolute Monarch.
