NOKWANE: King Mswati has confirmed Mashikilisane Fakudze as the Army Commander.
This was during the Army Day celebration held at Nokwane on Friday.
“The new Army Commander will be Hulumende Mashikilisane Fakudze”, said the King.
The confirmation of the new Army Commander put to rest allegations suggesting that the King wanted to reinstate Jeffery Shabalala as the Commander.
Jeffery Shabalala was removed by the King after this publication released an electronic evidence where he revealed Mswati’s secrets including the plot to arrest pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.
