PIGG’S PEAK: Colani Maseko, the President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) and Secretary General Wakhile Lukhele visited Pigg’s Peak public transport workers in preparation for a mass protest.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, the Students Union President said the transport workers were very excited to see that young people particularly students were genuinely seeking a collaboration with them.

“Our struggle has reached a point where we must be decisive and students, transport workers and workers at all levels should come together in fighting for a better Swaziland. We as a student union we are very humbled to be welcomed by transport workers, we respect and value their service and efforts in contributing to the economy of the country. We will never undermine any efforts that seek to develop the advancement of the struggle”, said the Students Union President.

On another note, Maseko said the public transport workers expressed support for the looming mass protest which he described as a national shutdown.
