MBABANE:The Trade Union Congress of Swaziland (TUCOSWA) has called for tolerance after various political parties clashed during the Workers Day celebrations last Sunday.
Members of the People's United Democratic Movement( PUDEMO), Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) and the Swaziland Liberatory Movement (SWALIMO) clashed during the May Day celebrations.
In a statement sent to this Swaziland News, Mduduzi Gina, the TUCOSWA Secretary General called for political tolerance within the Mass Democratic Movement.
“For that hope to be given and accepted to all, this movement must exhibit high levels of political tolerance.
and respect of each other.The turbulences that are reported to have occurred way after the end of the May Day celebrations are a cause for concern. It requires urgent attention and resolution lest it delays the political future of the country", reads the statement in part.
