EZULWINI: Jeanne Maloney, the Ambassador of the United States of America(USA)has congratulated ten(10) Swazis selected for the 2022 six week intense developmnent programme on Civic Leadership,Business and Entrepreneurship,and Public Management.
The 2022 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI),is a programme for outstanding young leaders who will begin their fellowship with nearly 700 other young African leaders from all African countries.
United States (US) Ambassador to Eswatini, Her Excellency Jeanne Maloney when speaking during the event held on 3rd May 2022 at the American Embassy at Ezulwini,congratulated the fellows adding that it was a great achievement to be part of the fellowship programme where they would be able to grow and learn from their peers.
“We want to congratulate you all for being selected to be part of the fellowship and to be part of such a program in this year of 2022 and wishing you well in your stay in the United States",said the Ambassador.
These ten young fellows will be in prestigious U.S universities including Rutgers University,University of Georgia,Clark Atlanta to name a few ,the summit will then connect all the fellows at the end of the programme.
