Wednesday, 25th May, 2022

MANGCONGCO: Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga, the Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs has urged Swazis to know their origins.

Speaking during a culture day held at Mangcongco Constituency on Wednesday as part of the Africa Day,the Minister said nothing beats knowing “yourself and your origins”.

The Culture and Youth Affairs Minister said knowing yourself and your origins remained the perfect foundation to help one confront life's challenges.

“Such celebrations are therefore key in helping us preserve our culture. It is true that when we neglect our culture, we risk finding ourselves living on imported cultures. We shouldn't allow that to happen,”said the Minister.

According to Government online platforms, the Culture Day was organised by Mangcongco Inkhundla MP Oneboy Zikalala in partnership with the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs' Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC).
