KAMKHWELI:Lomalungelo Simelane(LaZwide),the wife to the President of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) has been nominated to replace her husband as the next Siphofaneni Member of Parliament(MP).
LaZwide,a well-known gospel artist in eSwatini was nominated at kaMkhweli Chiefdom on Saturday together with Sicelo Pethro Khoza and Thandokuhle Bhembe.
SWALIMO members were at the nomination centre to offer support to their preferred candidate being the wife to their President, Mduduzi Simelane.
On another note,other nominated candidates that include Cynthia Simelane, a sister to the former Siphofaneni MP, Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane declined to stand for the elections.
