MBABANE: Hu Zhengze, the third Secretary in the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China(PRC) based in Pretoria, South Africa has confirmed that eSwatini was likely to benefit from the coronavirus protective clothing donated by Chinese billionaire Jack Ma Foundation, despite the diplomatic tensions between the two countries.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the Secretary said the fact that the Jack Ma Foundation announced the donation to all 54 African countries, eSwatini was included. The Chinese billionaire announced that his foundation, together with the Alibaba Foundation, will donate testing kits, masks, protective suits and face masks to all 54 African countries to help them fight the coronavirus outbreak.
