The oppressed will influence a date for a political dialogue not King Mswati.

Sunday, 19th June, 2022

The highly anticipated political dialogue will only be held once the oppressed successfully shake the foundations of the oppressor’s comfort zone.

It should be noted that this regime has been arresting, torturing, killing and sending Swazis with different political views to exile and life continues to be normal for the oppressor and his allies, this should come to an end.

If those who are in exile are living in fear of being killed by Mswati’s regime, pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube still languishing in jail with Swazis being hunted by soldiers and the police merely for demanding democratic reforms, it shouldn’t be business as usual for the oppressor and his allies.

The oppressed managed to facilitate a dialogue by protesting against the oppressor last year, it seems the pressure was not enough, perhaps more is needed, this time for purposes of setting a date for the political dialogue.

This regime has a tendency of killing people and when the oppressed adopt measures to defend themselves, it screams terrorism.

We are yet to see if the United Nations(UN) and other organizations will entertain a regime with blood on its hands screaming terrorism.

It is clear that this regime wants to kill people and then expect a ‘kiss’ from the oppressed or relatives of the deceased, any self-defense mechanism and or retaliation is interpreted as terrorism.

Swazis have been calling for democracy for fifty(50) years now and the list of citizens who were killed by the police during this period is known.

Other Swazis were tortured to death merely for wearing a PUDEMO t-shirt, perhaps the regime can explain why it killed Sipho Jele, did he vandalize any property?.

Swazis allowed the oppressor and his allies to live in peace for years after committing these crimes against humanity, that should come to an end.

The Southern African Development Community(SADC) recommended a dialogue to resolve the crisis and Mswati agreed, only to make one excuse after another, avoiding the political dialogue while unleashing soldiers and the police to brutalize the people.

As an editor, I am happy to announce that I met with the Executive Command of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) where they engaged me “off-record” to understand how they will operate in the coming months.

I am not afraid to state on record that I met with the Solidarity Forces, a journalist in his or her line of duty, can meet anyone from ordinary citizens, politicians, police, soldiers, businessmen and diplomats among others.

It’s very important to state that anyone within Mswati’s regime who feels that by admitting that I met with the Solidarity Forces, then I am terrorist must print this article and file a complaint with the relevant international law enforcement agencies.

As an editor, I sometimes meet the Solidarity Forces Executive Command and go on to meet diplomats or Ambassadors who want to know what is happening in eSwatini.

I am not afraid of a terrorist regime that killed over one hundred(100)people,in fact every-time the word ‘extradition’ comes from the regime, it encourages me to work even harder to liberate the people because it’s a demonstration that the regime is under pressure.

I normally meet different people here, including those who are very close to Mswati, it is within my duties as a journalist to ensure that my sources both within the Solidarity Forces or Mswati’s regime are protected.

Due to my position as the editor, I must understand all the planned and current operations so that I can report accurately and with better understanding.

I can assure Swazis that based on the briefing I received from the Executive Command of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF), Mswati will be forced to announce the date for a political dialogue.

As mentioned, the power to announce the date is vested upon the oppressed.

The oppressed will influence a date for a political dialogue not King Mswati.
King Mswati.
