MBABANE:Inyatsi Construction is a conduit for royal looting, Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini told SAFM, an SABC radio station on Wednesday.
The editor was interviewed regarding the ongoing attacks on Inyatsi in the midst of the escalating calls for democratic reforms.
“Inyatsi Construction is allegedly linked to King Mswati through the Tibiyo TakaNgwane investment company. It’s Director Michello Shakantu is the husband of the Justice Minister in Swaziland who is a member of the royal family. So what actually happened, because from time to time, I normally interview or engage with the Executive Command of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces, their main concern is that Inyatsi is one of the pillars of Mswati’s dictatorship. They are highly concerned, considering the fact that while the pro-democracy movement is fighting for democracy or political power, Inyatsi is looting public resources, in fact it has been accused of being a conduit for royal looting,” said the editor .
On another note, Inyatsi Management announced during a press conference on Tuesday that they would suspend operations for a week to strengthen security.
