King Mswati was never elected by the people as a Head of State, he inherited absolute power from Sobhuza who forcefully grabbed it from the people through the 1973 Decree.
Perhaps, it is important to clarify that eSwatini is not democratic, King Mswati rules the country as an absolute Monarch with Executive, Judicial and Legislative powers.
Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini was never elected by the people, he was rewarded for allowing King Mswati to loot the Public Service Pension Fund(PSPF).
As mentioned before, there will come a time when civil servants including security officers will find nothing at the Pension Fund because Mswati would have looted everything.
The political behaviour of Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini suggests that even if the faces of the Prime Ministers could change, the oppression of emaSwati will never stop because of the source, being Mswati who is still in power.
When Barnabas Dlamini, the then Prime Minister died, Swazis thought that was the beginning of their freedom not knowing that with Mswati still in power, the oppression would not only be sustained but would intensify.
Mswati is the source of oppression in this country, he has been able to remain ‘innocent’ by changing Prime Ministers and using them as ‘political condoms’.
In light of the aforementioned, it is therefore important to state that overthrowing Mswati will end the oppression and suffering of Swazis, after all he was never elected by the people.
