MBABANE: Alpheous Nxumalo, the Government Spokesperson says editor Zweli Martin Dlamini ordered the killing of police officers who were allegedly shot by the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces (SISF).
The two officers who were allegedly shot by the Solidarity Forces are Constables Zinhle Mavuso and 8150 Sibusiso Matsebula.
Speaking during an interview with Ligwalagwala FM on Monday evening, the Government Spokesperson said they had been following the editor's Facebook posts,which he said, instigated violence.
"As Government we followed his Facebook posts which had the intention of inciting violence, the destruction of property and the loss of Swazi lives. As we speak just last week,we buried two (2) police officers whose death was announced by Mr Dlamini on his newspaper. There is also a video where he announced that the security forces and Solidarity Forces were now enemies,” he said.
On another note, editor Zweli Martin Dlamini when interviewed by the Ligwalagwala FM on Monday evening said Government was attempting to silence the publication by declaring him and the Swaziland News as terrorists.
