NCABANENI:Students at Ncabaneni High School were rushed to hospital after being severely assaulted by their Headteacher Dalton Kunene for not submitting English exercise books.

Headteachers in some schools in eSwatini linked to Mswati’s regime are victimizing students after the recent riots in demand for democratic reforms.

When this Swaziland News tried to seek a comment from the Headteacher, he avoided questions and declined to respond.

Reached for comments, Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT) warned Headteachers against punishing students in this manner.

“We urge Headteachers to follow the law when disciplining students through corporal punishment. This is not punishment but violence and we condemn violence because it creates an environment that is not conducive for learning,” said the SNAT President.
