MBABANE: PUDEMO, the People’s United Democratic Movement is mourning the death of African National Congress(ANC)Deputy Secretary General Jessie Duarte.
“The leadership and membership of PUDEMO is deeply saddened and shocked to have received the news of the passing away of Comrade Yasmin Jessie Duarte.As PUDEMO we know very well her love and unconditionally support to the struggle of Swaziland and oppressed people in all corners of the world .We are truly saddened by this and take it as our loss for her contributions to the struggles of our people. The ANC we feel your deep pain and loss in such a crucial period of the revolution when unwavering leadership is needed the most,” reads a statement released by Wandile Dludlu, the PUDEMO Secretary General.
Jessie Duarte, the Deputy Secretary General of the ANC died on Sunday, this was confirmed by the ANC through a public statement.
