MANZINI: Police officers who were targeted by members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) allegedly fled before the dramatic shooting on Wednesday evening.
Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the police Spokesperson confirmed the shooting to the State controlled media but declined to share more details.
The Spokesperson of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) confirmed that when they fired shots at Zakhele Police Camp on Wednesday evening, they discovered that the police had fled with members of their families.
“We fired shots and the bullets went through, only to find that the officers had fled. As per the previous warning, we will invade police camps and we urge police officers to vacate as a matter of urgency,” said the Solidarity Forces Spokesperson.
