MPAKA: Siboniso Mkhabela, the influential member of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) led Mpaka residents on Friday to the Police Post to demand justice for two citizens who were shot and killed by the police.
Dumsani Mgwazo Tsabedze, a member of Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF) and Thandekile Kunene were shot and killed by the police after picking a safe with money at Mpaka Shopping Complex.
The safe was found within the premises of the Complex and the police were camping nearby waiting to shoot anyone who would pick it.
Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Speaking to this Swaziland News after the protest, Mkhabela said as residents, they demand justice for the soldier and Thandekile Kunene who were shot and killed by Mswati’s police.
”Residents are demanding justice for the soldier and Thandekile Kunene who were killed by the police,” he said.
Eswatini police were ordered by Mswati to shot and kill civilians, the King said police must meet an eye to an eye.
