MBABANE: Mzwakhe Myeni, the fired Lubombo District Chairperson of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) allegedly insulted President Mduduzi Magawugawu and further threatened to punish him by having sex with his wife ‘LaZwide’, the newly elected Siphofaneni Member of Parliament(MP).

The fired Lubombo District Chairperson contacted this Swaziland News on Tuesday complaining that Magawugawu banned him from performing at MP Nomalungelo LaZwide Simelane’s thanksgiving event despite working hard to campaign for his wife.

“It’s true that I have been banned from performing at LaZwide’s thanksgiving. I was on the ground actively campaigning for the MP only to be fired and banned from the movement and blocked from performing in the thanksgiving event for the person I was campaigning for. Note this, I was on the ground campaigning for LaZwide but now I have banned by Magawugawu who issued an order while relaxing in Canada,” said the fired Lubombo District Chairperson.

But now, it has emerged that Myeni was not banned by Magawugawu but instead, LaZwide ordered his removal after he allegedly insulted the SWALIMO President and further threatened to have sex with her as a way of dealing with Simelane if he continued to stay or hide in other countries.

“He sent an audio to Magawugawu and threatened to have sex with LaZwide if Gawuzela continued to hide in other countries,” said a Member of Parliament(MP) very close to both MP LaZwide and Magawugawu.

Reached for comments, MP Nomalungelo Simelane referred comments to Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane.

“Ngicela umane utsintse umuntfu lomdzala Babe atophendvula(meaning: Please contact my husband so he can respond on the matter,” said the Siphofaneni MP.

It has been disclosed that after receiving the audio, the SWALIMO President sent it to his wife who became angry at Myeni and banned him from performing at her thanksgiving event.

When this publication questioned Myeni earlier about the matter, he avoided our questions.

“Let’s not talk about that issue,” he said.

But SWALIMO President Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane confirmed the matter, saying Mzwakhe Myeni sent an audio that undermined his family including his wife. He said  LaZwide then decided to ban Myeni from performing at her event.

“Thanks brother,I think you understand why I am trying to avoid talking much about this matter.One reason I hate is having back and forth issues with the guy as he seeks attention. I can only confirm that he really insulted Lazwide in her capacity as my wife. LaZwide then decided that she wants nothing to link her with Mzwakhe. I am trying to be diplomatic in this matter otherwise it’s bad,” said the SWALIMO President.
