KEMPTON PARK: Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT)says King Mswati uses the police to violently crush any protest.
Addressing the South African Democratic Teachers Union(SADTU)National General Council that was attended and addressed by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at Kempton Park, South Africa on Tuesday, the SNAT President said even a protest against Gender Based Violence(GBV) was not allowed in eSwatini.
“In the country there, no protest is allowed. Even if we can organize a gender based violence march, that too, is not allowed. The Government makes sure that they violently crush any gathering,” said the SNAT President.
