MBABANE: Namibian President Hage Geingob, the new Chairperson of the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Troika on Politics,Defense and Security will visit eSwatini amid political tension within this troubled Kingdom, the Namibian New Era reported on Tuesday.
“President Geingob will be undertaking a mission to the Kingdom of Eswatini as the Chairperson of organ troika. He will be meeting with King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Eswatini,” said the Presidency as quoted by the Namibian New Era newspaper.
Eswatini, a tiny Kingdom ruled by Mswati as an absolute Monarch, is facing a political crisis after the King unleashed his soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians,merely for demanding democratic reforms.
