MBABANE: “From this experience, Government hopes emaSwati will learn not to take instructions and orders from faceless people, some of whom are living large outside the country, and whose livelihoods are not directly disturbed by the threats they so freely dish out to unsuspecting emaSwati”.

These were the sentiments of Acting Prime Minister Senator Themba Masuku when addressing the media at the Cabinet offices on Tuesday, shortly after King Mswati’s Government unleashed soldiers and the police to shoot unarmed protesting civilians.

“We also remind this great Nation that tonight security will be there.Tomorrow and every day, security will continue to be there. And together,we can win.Together, we can continue to build our lives and take care of those who are underprivileged,” said the Acting Prime Minister.

King Mswati and his government unleashed soldiers and the police to shoot unarmed civilians who were protesting, demanding democracy  and the release of incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.

The MPs were arrested for demanding democracy, they are facing politically motivated terrorism charges.
