MBABANE: Government is working towards renovating and expanding the Lubombo Referral Hospital and other facilities in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, Lizzie Nkosi, the Minister of Health has disclosed.

Speaking during a press conference on Friday, the Minister further revealed that as part of their preventive strategy that seeks to strengthen and further enhance the identification of those who might be infected with the virus, they will work with the police to conducts tests during roadblocks.

“When conducting the public screening and testing, we will be working closely with the police during the roadblocks. We will further renovate and expand the Lubombo Referral Hospital to create more space” she said. 

Minister Nkosi then reminded members of the public to adopt safety measures by washing their hands regularly, covering of mouth and nose when sneezing and the proper use of face masks.
