BHUNYA:Ward Rijikernberg, a brother to Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg is threatening to evict Golide Wine and Malt,a tavern situated at Bhunya and owned by Swazi businessman Bongani Mncedisi Mabuza.

It has been disclosed that Ward Rijikernberg is one of the Directors of Montigny Investments, a company that leased part of Bhunya Village premises to Asikhutulisane Association, the Association then sub-leased the tavern thus creating tension between Montigny and the leasee.

“We note with great concern that a bar is now operational. We would like to remind yourselves that in terms of the village rules the sale of liquor is strictly prohibited,”reads a letter signed by the Montigny Manager.

Reached for comments, Ward Rijkenberg confirmed that they were preparing to shutdown the tavern.

\"Alcohol is sold within the Village, but there are regulations that must be adhered. I think Mr Mabuza was required to abide by the guidelines prior to opening, the laws require, among other things, that there be parking, security personnel, and toilets,” said Ward Rijkenberg.
