MBABANE:Wandile Dludlu,the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO) has invited diplomats to join Swazis in a protest march, demanding justice for human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the PUDEMO Secretary General said they were concerned that after the death of their member Thulani Rudolf Maseko,no arrests have been made.
“We have noted that whenever political activists or our members are killed,there would be no arrests. We have noted that in this country there are Swazis and Government citizens.If you are suspected of killing Government citizens,you are killed without any trial.As we speak, there are Swazis who have been killed because they were suspected of killing Government ‘citizens’.Tomorrow(Friday),we will be marching to the Manzini Regional Headquarters, demanding justice for Thulani Maseko,we invite diplomats to join Swazis in the march before attending the memorial service,” said the PUDEMO Secretary General .
Dludlu said the protest march would start at 12noon at the Manzini Regional Headquarters.
