When ‘Chief’ propagandist Senator Themba Masuku toured the State controlled media with an intention of spreading false information regarding the political situation in the country, I was reminded of the security officers who were commanded to deny that Jesus rose from the dead. 

Politically,Jesus was an activist with a huge following, his mission was to liberate the people from sin and the law of Moses that was making it extremely difficult for anyone to enter Heaven.

As part of his mission,he introduced a new system of salvation by substituting the blood of the lamb as a requirement,with his own blood.

But before his death,Jesus Christ was accused of calling himself “ King of the Jews” and as a result, he was subsequently charged with treason among other charges and sentenced to death.

During Jesus’ treason trial, there were the likes of ‘MP Sibusiso Mabhanisi Dlaminis’ who falsely testified against him, one of the ‘witnesses’ claimed Jesus said he would destroy the Temple and rebuild it within three(3)days. 

The false witness and the entire Judicial system of the Jews that was persecuting Jesus did not understand that he was referring to his body as the “Spiritual Temple”, that he would die and rise from the dead within three(3) days.

The Jews thought Jesus was threatening to damage State property by destroying the Temple, his spiritual sentiments that were misunderstood by the Pharisees were presented as evidence during the treason trial.

Now,when MP Mabhanisi falsely testified against incarcerated Members of Parliament(MP) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube, again, I was reminded of the Jewish witnesses who testified against Jesus.

The spirit of denial, oppression and killing people with different political views is not new.

The State propaganda machinery is trying to deny and shift the blame on human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko’s assassination.

Again, this is not new, after Jesus rose from the dead, State security officers who were on duty on that particular night were ordered to spread false information suggesting that he did not rise from the dead, but his disciples came to steal the body while they were asleep.

But 2000 years later, we know that Jesus rose from the dead.

It is therefore important to state that the truth is a spirit, the TRUTH is Jesus himself.

Indeed, Jesus has many names, he is the WAY, TRUTH and LIFE, this means when you speak the truth, you are speaking Jesus.

When MP Bacede Mabuza declared that he would push democratic reforms inside Parliament,he had the support of over thirty(30) pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) but, only one(1) MP went to prison with him.

It’s true that other MPs are pushing behind the scenes but others opted to testify against him, while others spied on him for political positions.

But despite all the propaganda by Deputy Prime Minister Themba Masuku and some loyalists, democracy will be achieved.

Whenever, I read the Bible, it becomes clear that indeed, this is a book of life full of wisdom.

It is stated in the Bible how the lives of people like King Mswati,Themba Masuku, Mabhanisi Dlamini and others normally end.
