NDZEVANE: Bongumenzi Matsebula, a member of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has been found dead after disappearing on Tuesday.

A questionnaire was sent to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson,however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

Reached for comments on Thursday,Velaphi Dlamini, a member of PUDEMO at Lubulini branch confirmed the death of the political activist but clarified that they were not sure whether he committed suicide or was murdered.

“It’s true that he has been found dead and we are not sure whether he committed suicide or was killed, his family will release a statement later. What we know is that he was supposed to attend a job interview when he disappeared,” said the political activist.

Efforts to reach the  Matsebula family proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

Matsebula disappeared on Tuesday and was subsequently found dead on Thursday, at this juncture, there’s no evidence suggesting that the death might be linked to his political activism.
