Health Minister admits COVID-19 curve not flattering as she announces four (4) more cases

MBABANE: The Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi has admitted that Eswatini's COVID 19 curve is not flattening yet.

The Minister revealed this through a press statement when announcing four (4) new cases of COVID 19 cases.These are are all males,one (1) from each of the country's four regions.The total number of confirmed  COVID 19 to date is 163.

"Eswatini curve is not flattening yet,this indicates the need to strengthen the practice of public health measures.A continuous downward trend  on new cases will result in the flattening of the epidemic curve. Improving on the laboratory turn around time and contact tracing will bring a clear picture of the Eswatini epidemic curve"she said.
