MBABANE:King Mswati’s Interpreter Sihle Dlamini says, he was happy to see soldiers demonstrating before their Majesties that they were more than ready to shoot and kill those who were burning the country.
Speaking on Thursday during the People’s and Places Television(TV) Program at Channel YeMaswati, the King’s Interpreter said when attending the Passout Parade about two weeks ago, his heart was filled and overwhelmed with happiness upon seeing the soldiers.
“I was very happy Ntfulini, the soldiers demonstrated readiness to protect the country, let these hooligans come and burn our country, we want to see something. The truth is; the situation found us not ready but now, we are ready, we know bo-IB are planning something against the country,” said the King’s Interpreter.
Dlamini’s sentiments come amid shooting and killing of those calling for democratic reforms.
Recently, human rights lawyer Thulani Rudolf Maseko, the Chairperson of the pro-democracy Multi-Stakeholders Forum(MSF) was assassinated, a few hours after King Mswati threatened those calling for democracy saying his mercenaries will deal with them.
On another note, Senator Christopher Coons, the Chairperson of the United States(US) Congress Committee on Foreign Relations, recently tabled a resolution that seeks to,among others, impose sanctions on those violating human rights in the Kingdom of eSwatini.
