MBABANE: Senator Themba Masuku, the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) has travelled to Taiwan, on Wednesday, he met President Dr Tsai Ing-Wen.
According to Government online platforms, the Deputy Prime Minister is on an official visit to discuss issues of mutual interest on a country to country basis.
“The DPM has met the President of Taiwan H.E. Dr. Tsai Ing-Wen and the Foreign Minister Dr. Joseph Wu.The invitation by the Republic of China (Taiwan) indicates the close and warm relations that exist between the two countries and its people.The delegation is led by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister who is accompanied by his spouse. Also forming part of the delegation is the Under Secretary, Lomakhosi Dlamini, Director of Social Welfare , Mcusi Shongwe and the Assistant Economist Njabulo Ndzinisa,” reads the Government online report.
