MBABANE:Wandile Dludlu,the Deputy President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) says, as a political organization, they fully support the alleged Commander of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) Thabo Kunene.
Addressing PUDEMO members at the Supreme Court on Monday, the Deputy President described Kunene as Saul who repented to become Paul.
“We fully support the Commander, Viva Commander Viva!. We support anyone who is being persecuted by the Tinkhundla regime. Even though Thabo once worked for the police persecuting us as political activists, with likes of Khethokwakhe, we understand that he was Saul but now he is Paul. We don’t want to dwell much on what he did to us while he was a police officer. What is important now, is that we fully support him,” said the PUDEMO Deputy President.
The eSwatini largest political party was at the Supreme Court, for the terrorism case, the organization wants the Supression of Terrorism Act to be declared unconstitutional.
Government is appealing a High Court judgement that declared some provisions of the said Act as unconstitutional.
