MBABANE: Timothy Myeni, the Nkilongo Member of Parliament(MP) has registered for elections at Lubulini, he is highly expected to face Economic Planning Minister Dr Thambo Gina, the current Lubulini MP in the 2023 Parliamentary elections.
A questionnaire was sent to the Economic Planning Minister, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Reached for comments, MP Myeni confirmed that he has registered for elections at Lubulini, his home area,however, he declined to confirm whether he will stand for elections or not in that area.
“What I can confirm is that I have registered for elections at Lubulini Inkhundla, I can’t confirm for now if I will stand or not because I have to respect elections laws. I don’t want my comment to be interpreted as a campaign,” said the Nkilongo MP.
But sources confirmed that Myeni will stand for elections at Lubulini.
