ELECTIONS COMMISSION RELEASES PRELIMINARY REGISTRATION REPORT:Close to 600 000 register for Tinkhundla elections.

MBABANE: Mbonisi Bhembe,the Spokesperson of the Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC) has confirmed that close to six hundred thousand(600 000) have already registered for the upcoming Tinkhundla elections.

An update report sent to Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Sunday afternoon by the EBC Spokesperson, suggests that five-hundred and seventy-four thousand, six hundred and forty-six(574,646) emaSwati have registered on the Eve of the extended deadline.

The registration was extended by the Elections Commission to Sunday (18th June 2023), the EBC is yet to update or release a full registration report.
