MANZINI: “Where are those who claimed they were the ones influencing a national shutdown, today is a normal working day with the Commander of the Solidarity Forces behind bars?”.
These were the sentiments of Wandile Dludlu, the Deputy President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO), during the commemoration of the June 29th massacre held in Manzini on Thursday.
“There is no holiday today because the Commander of the Solidarity Forces is in prison. We are not ashamed to associate ourselves with Thabo Kunene. Where are those who were claiming they were the ones influencing shutdowns? It's clear now, it was the Commander. We must support him,” said the PUDEMO Deputy President.
Dludlu said the struggle was infiltrated with opportunists who analyze it, position themselves, and then claim ‘glory’ over the work of others, he maintained that it was the Commander who was imposing shutdowns hence there was no June 29th holiday after his arrest.
