PRETORIA: Mlungisi Makhanya, the President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO),has advised the South African Police Service(SAPS) to take urgent and decisive action against those who kidnapped alleged Commander of the Solidarity Forces Thabo Kunene.
Addressing protesters and the South African police who accepted a petition in Pretoria on Friday, the PUDEMO President said failure to act against the kidnapping of the Commander, would mean that the battle between Mswati and the pro-democracy movement has been extended to the jurisdiction of the Republic of South Africa.
As result, Makhanya said Mswati’s agents might be targeted when they cross the boarder and attacked as well.
The PUDEMO President said, the pro-democracy movement was more than capable of doing what Mswati’s agents did to Thabo Kunene but, they wanted the SA police to follow the laws of South Africa and take action.
