MBABANE: Prince Simelane, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development has officially opened the newly constructed Makhosini Drive Road in the capital-city Mbabane.
According to Government online platforms, the road passes through Sifundzani Primary School all the way to Checkers.
“Closer observation reveals that all safety concerns have been factored in. The road has walkways and street lights to ensure pedestrian safety from car accidents and crime, primary considerations for world class cities of which Mbabane has aligned itself with.I have been informed that the streetlights are energy saving lights thus conforming to Green development as part of climate change strategies by Government.Let me take this opportunity to congratulate the Municipal Council of Mbabane for a job well done and wish you all the success in your developmental aspirations,” said the Urban Development Minister during the official opening of the road on Friday.
