MBABANE: Senator Themba Masuku, the eSwatini Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) is seriously sick, according to members of the Royal Close Protection Unit(RCPU).
The royal guards told this Swaziland News that they were concerned with the deteriorating health condition of the DPM as, during royal events or meetings,he needs special attention.
“Sometimes while we busy providing security particularly to the King during royal meetings,sibone libhuluko selimanti, kancane-kancane sewuya endlini lencane bese kutsiwe akubuye emaswidi awadle-ke abe nconywana,” said the royal guard.
A questionnaire was sent to the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Themba Masuku however,he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
When asked to share a comment on such symptoms, health expert Mayibongwe Masangwane, the Secretary General of the Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union(SWADNU) said such symptoms might suggest that the patient was diabetic.
“The symptoms suggest that the patient is diabetic and is struggling to feel when the urine is coming. Loshukela ukhandza kutsi so ‘advansile’ and esikhatsini lesinengi unemkhuba wekutsi wehle kakhulu, ngoba nasafuna emaswidi nje usuke asafuna kwenyusa loshukela,” said the Nurses Union Secretary General.
