GEGE: Senator Themba Masuku, the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM),has advised members of the Jericho Church in Zion not to vote for people who will then act like ‘John’ in the Bible,and try to change the ruling Tinkhundla system of governance.
The DPM who was a Guest Speaker during the commemoration of Jericho founder Melika Vilakati, made an example about John in the Bible, who was sent to Nineveh but he then change the route to Tarshish.
“Be careful, don’t vote for people who will act like Jona and try to change the system of governance,” said the DPM.
Voters are expected to vote for Members of Parliament(MPs), Constituency Headmen(Tindvuna teTinkhundla and Development Officers(Bucopho beTinkhundla), political parties are banned in eSwatini.
