MBABANE: Sicelo Mngomezulu, the lawyer representing incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube says the People's United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO) is a glorious movement for the political emancipation of Emaswati.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Thursday evening, the people’s lawyer said PUDEMO members must continue striving for a free and democratic Swaziland.

“PUDEMO is a glorious movement for the political emancipation of Emaswati and has distinguished itself over for four decades as a liberation vehicle. We urge its members to continue striving for a free and democratic Swaziland in our lifetime.In particular, drawing experience, PUDEMO must work with all motive forces within the Mass Democratic Movement and our International partners to secure a just settlement for the current political impasse in Swaziland," said the lawyer representing the incarcerated pro-democracy MPs. 

PUDEMO, the largest political organisation in Swaziland(eSwatini) is celebrating forty(40) years since establishment, it was founded on 6th July 1983.
