MBABANE: King Mswati’s wife Inkhosikati LaMbikiza is allegedly using a handbag worth forty-seven thousand, five hundred Rands(R47,500.00) and/or Two-Thousand, Five hundred and forty five US Dollars($2,545.00), in a country where about 70% of the population lives below the poverty line.

The eSwatini Queen was seen with the expensive Dolce & Gabbana DG Girls Crossbody handbag, during the recently held Coronation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom(UK).

A questionnaire was sent to Inkhosikati LaMbikiza, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

On another note, eSwatini citizens are struggling, as a result of Mswati’s Government failure to provide drugs in hospitals, hundreds are reportedly dying within the health facilities.

Recently, the Swaziland United Democratic Front(SUDF), a coalition of pro-democracy groups, delivered petitions in various government hospitals, they are demanding that government must provide drugs amid escalating health crisis.

Reached for comments, Lucky Dlamini, the SUDF Chairperson said the current regime does not prioritize the needs of the people but the extravagant spending of the royal family.

“It is for these reasons that we must remove this system and introduce a constitutional multiparty democracy, that promotes checks and balances and political pluralism. As the situation stands, this government does not have any opposition that hold it accountable, they spend public funds as they wish while our people are dying in hospitals,” said the SUDF Chairperson.
