BOKSBURG: Mlungisi Makhanya, the President of the People’s United Democratic Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) and Treasurer General(TG) Velaphi Mamba are participating in the ongoing BRICS Political Parties Dialogue held at Boksburg-South Africa.
The theme of the event, attended even by former South African Presidents Thabo Mbeki and Kgalema Motlante is; BRICS and Africa: partnership for mutually accelerated growth, sustainable development, and inclusive multilateralism.
Other high profile guests who are part of the event include, Deputy President of South Africa Paul Mashatile, African National Congress(ANC) Secretary General Fikile Mbalula, former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo and leaders of the Chinese Communist Party as well as other global leaders.
“PUDEMO, as the globally recognized leader of the Swazi struggle, will use this platform to strengthen its global networks and build solidarity for the cause of freedom in Swaziland.In addition, it will amplify the current human rights situation in the country, amplifying calls for justice, accountability and a swift transition to a multiparty constitutional dispensation,” said the PUDEMO Deputy Secretary General Maxwell Dlamini.
