Who will speak for the police in Parliament after aspiring MP Timothy Myeni’s politically motivated disqualification?.

Wednesday, 26th July, 2023

Timothy Myeni, the then Nkilongo Member of Parliament(MP) was vocal inside Parliament, even on issues touching the welfare of the police officers who are now known in our society for killing innocent civilians.

But the very same police were deployed at Lubulini last weekend, to ensure that Timothy Myeni was not nominated at Lubulini Inkhundla.

Perhaps, it is worth mentioning that, there would come a time, when all those with passion to speak for the police would be silenced.

When that time comes, there would be no one willing to speak for the members of the law-enforcement agency.

Myeni was blocked from visiting Mantabaneni uMphakatsi and the police were ordered to ensure he doesn’t get nominated.

Well, as I conclude my article, let me once again remind the police that life is slowly becoming more difficult in this country.

Therefore, if these police officers continue to take orders from the authorities, MPs would be reluctant to be their voice inside the House Parliament.
