MBABANE: King Mswati has warned aspiring Members of Parliament(MPs) to stop committing ritual murder for a Parliament seat.
Speaking during the Correctional Services Day held at Matsapha Prison on Friday, the King said, it was very disturbing to note that ritual murder cases were rife during this time of elections.
“During this time, when we prepare for National elections, we hear a lot of stories of people who commit ritual murders believing it will help them be elected into Parliament. Some believe if they kill people with albinism, they will have good luck. This is not true. Stop ritual murders, because you are also adding to the burden that the Correctional Services already faces,” said the King as quoted by Government online platforms.
On another note, at least three-hundred and seventy two(372) Correctional Services recruits passed-out on Friday.
