MBABANE: Zweli Martin Dlamini, the prominent editor of this Swaziland News has pledged ten thousand Rands(R10,000.00) to establish a Water Scheme Fund for Sigcaweni-Machibini residents under Gilgal Inkhundla in the Lubombo region.
Dlamini was contacted by Mcolisi Ngcamphalala, a member of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) who informed him about the plight of the residents at Sigcawini, the residents are consuming water with animals.
“This is very painful and we can collectively solve this situation. Swaziland News has a wide reach locally and internationally, let us change the lives of the residents by raising R100,000.00 for a borehole. I will personally donate R10,000.00 from my pocket and this means the remainder is R90,000.00”, said the editor.

The editor further urged those who want to donate to first call the Chairman of the Water Scheme and verify the bank account details before donating. He urged Borehole companies to also contribute to the social project by reducing the costs in exchange for three(3) months free advertising in the Swaziland News.Dlamini then thanked Mcolisi Ngcamphalala, a young resident of the area who is based in South Africa, for remembering the plight of residents back home and then try to network with people who can assist.
