LOGOBA: Mshuza Hlophe, the prominent and aspiring Logoba Bucopho BeNkhundla saw his dream of rehabilitating roads within the area for the benefit of residents manifesting into reality this week.
As reported by this Swaziland News earlier Sibusiso Mabhanisi Dlamini, the Kwaluseni former Member of Parliament(MP) tried to sabotage the project amid fears Mshuza Hlophe might campaign with the project.
Reached for comments, Hlophe said, he will speak about the project later as now, it might be seen as a campaign.
“I will talk about the project later, my comments might be interpreted as a campaign,” said the aspiring Logoba Bucopho.
A questionnaire was sent to former Kwaluseni MP Mabhanisi Dlamini, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Hlophe successfully lobbied Logoba residents to contribute twenty Rands(R20,00) each, others contributed two hundred Rands(R200,00) per-homestead, that amounted to about fifty thousands Rands(R50,000.00).
Micro-projects then came-in to assist the residents through Inkhundla.
But Sibusiso Mabhanisi Dlamini allegedly delayed the project on fears that Hlophe might contest as a Member of Parliament, however, the influential Logoba resident accepted a nomination as Bucopho BeNkhundla.
