MATSAPHA: The Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC) with support from the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) facilitated a regional training for four-hundred(400) Chiefs, in maintaining a unifying role and upholding international standards during elections.
According to UNDP online platforms, the training is meant to capacitate the traditional leaders on elections and the role they can play in ensuring free and fair elections.
“The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC), through UNDP Eswatini support, facilitated regional training sessions for 400 chiefs in maintaining a unifying role and upholding international standards during elections, ahead of the polls”, reads the online report.
