MAKHWELELA: Mashumi Shongwe, the Nhlangano Mayor might be facing murder charges for allegedly killing his wife Tigezile Magongo-Shongwe but, some residents here at Shiselweni II under Makhwelela uMphakatsi want him inside Parliament.
Shongwe, a stanch supporter of the Tinkhundla system of governance and well-known football administrator, has won Primary Elections, he will now compete in final stages of the Tinkhundla elections.
On another note, well-known politicians that include Mduduzi Small Joe Dlamini, the former Maseyisini MP did not make it to the Secondary Elections, Dlamini was seeking a fourth(4th) term as an MP.
