MBABANE: Her Excellency Tsai Ing-wen, the President of the Republic of China on Taiwan will visit the Kingdom of eSwatini for the King’s Birthday and Independence Day double celebration, Government online platforms reported this week.
“President of the Republic of China, Taiwan, H.E Tsai Ing-wen, is coming to the Kingdom of Eswatini on 5-7 September 2023. While in the country, the President is expected to, among other things, attend the country’s 55/55 Double Celebrations.Eswatini and Taiwan enjoy a long, solid diplomatic relationship spanning 55 years.The two countries share mutual respect and support for each other”, reads the Government online report.
