KWALUSENI: Sibusiso Mabhanisi Dlamini, the former Kwaluseni Member of Parliament(MP) has stopped distributing free Taiwan rice after losing Primary Elections.
But instead, the ex-legislator who has been sent into the ‘political wilderness’ by voters has written a letter of complaint to the Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC), citing alleged vote rigging during the Special Voting last week.
Worth-noting, the Special Voting was conducted on Tuesday and the former MP waited until he lost elections on Saturday to cite the alleged vote rigging.
Efforts to reach Mbonisi Bhembe, the Spokesperson of the Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC) proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
The former Kwaluseni MP joined the ‘fast-lane’ and avoided questions when reached by this Swaziland News.
On another note, the former MP further demanded answers from the Elections Commission who counted the ballot boxes from all Correctional Services Centres that Bhalekani, Nhlangano, Big Bend, Mbabane, Matsapha and Pigg's Peak.
"Finally there are allegations that the Ballot paper boxes were tampered with in Matsapha Correctional Services and we would like to appeal to EBC to come clean on this allegation because bribery has been the element of the game," reads the letter in part written by the former MP to the Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC).
